I saw these lions in Tainan the other day. Taoist temples often have stylized lions in front, but I've never seen ones like this before. They look very "western". They remind me more of the lions in front of the Research Library building in New York than they do of typical Taoist temple lions.
台南でこの獅子を見かけた。道教の廟の前にはいつも獅子（狛犬）が設けられているが、初めてこんな洋風なライオンを見た。ちょっと変わっている。
這一雙石獅子在台南一座廟前面。有廟一定有石獅子，但是這一雙很特別。牠們看起來西方的雄獅石像差不多。
