There are elections in Taiwan this year, so there are lots of election posters up all over. All of the posters I've seen so far in Tainan have been for candidates from the Democratic Progressive Party, the current opposition party in Taiwan. There's a tendency for DPP to be very strong in Tainan, so I suppose the posters may just be reflecting that.
今年台湾には選挙がある。最近選挙広告をたくさん見掛けている。台南は圧倒的に民主進歩党の方が国民党より人気があるので、私が見掛けた広告は全部民主党のだ。
我最近看到很多政治家的廣告。因為我住在臺南所以我看到的像都是民主黨的。看得出來在臺南喜歡國民黨真的人非常少。
